Our Team

X‑MOB Team

Since 2021, the X‑MOB team has been committed to offering students unforgettable international experiences. We are a motivated group that consistently seeks out the best internship opportunities with reliable partners across Europe.

With personalised guidance and an open mindset, we help every student grow — step by step, from the application process to their return home.

Johanna van Loon

Johanna is someone who truly loves what she does. As a passionate teacher of Hairdressing, she has guided more than 30 students on foreign internships since 2021. In addition, she worked as an expert at other schools, where she enthusiastically shared her knowledge, experience, and practical expertise.

She regularly travels abroad for expertise exchange, training, and establishing new international contacts. Always alert for quality internship placements, she continuously seeks the best opportunities for students — both domestically and abroad.

Within X‑MOBshe is not only a driving force behind international mobilities but also a steady and supportive cornerstone of the team. She collaborates, involves colleagues in new processes, and is always ready to help where needed.

Vanessa Bijnens

Vanessa does not shy away from any challenge. With many years of experience as a Graphic Design teacher, she ensures creative and high‑quality internship placements for her students — a task that requires considerable dedication and one in which she excels. She has already accompanied more than 30 students on international internships in Portugal, Spain and Croatia, and she continues to seek new opportunities and valuable partners. A driven force within X‑MOB, she helps her students grow both at home and abroad.

Audrey Baeten

Audrey Baeten has been a constant presence in student guidance and the coordination of the first year for many years. From her strong belief that every child can grow when they feel seen and supported, she guides 12 to 14-year-olds with warmth and expertise.

She strongly focuses on autonomy: students learn to make choices for themselves, take responsibility, and discover their talents. The development of executive functions â€“ such as planning and organising – also receives a lot of attention from her.

With her involvement, enthusiasm, and experience, Audrey builds a strong and safe learning environment in which young people can grow to their fullest potential. As a driving force within X-MOB, she primarily guides our first year and ensures that students can grow — both here at school and through our Erasmus projects abroad.

Kyano Tzamouranis

With his infectious enthusiasm and positive energy, he not only inspires first-year students to embrace the English language but also the world beyond. For him, English is more than a subject: it is a key to new cultures, perspectives, and opportunities.

He strongly believes in experiential learning and consciously connects students with different perspectives and ways of life, so they step out of their comfort zone and look at the world with an open mind.

Within Erasmus+ and eTwinning he guides international projects for the first grade, allowing our youngest students to experience new cultures up close and grow into curious global citizens.

Inge Appeltants

Inge is new to the X‑MOB team this school year but brings a great deal of motivation from the very start.

As an experienced dual‑learning teacher, she is highly skilled in guiding students and supporting them in a warm, clear and professional manner.

This year, she will participate in international mobilities for the first time — a challenge she approaches with strong commitment and enthusiasm. A fresh and valuable addition to the X‑MOB team.

Fabienne Prijs

New this school year at X-MOB and teacher French, Fabienne is also our first eTwinning Belgica teacher and it is her first project.

She is also organising the 6th-year hairdressing mobility to Lyon, so that our students can have an unforgettable exchange experience.
